As above, Is it ISDN, DSL or Cable? I have Sky Broadband, a PC, am not wireless and have BT landline. The reason im asking is I am about to download something and it has asked what I have. Cheers Steve.

You are not stricly DSL or Cable but you can achieve these speeds with Sky Broadband.

    You are definatley not ISDN

I would try and enter DSL and see what happens, usually you are only asked what your connection is to help predict an estimated download time

    Hope this Helps

That makes sense as a timer changes when I select different settings. Cheers mate.

I believe Sky Broadband use ADSL where A is Asynchronous (ie different speed up to speed down) but you can also get SDSL where the S is Synchronous (same speed up and down) ... both these technologies are Digital Subscriber Line technology and so often referred to as DSL
