    Default Condensation problem

    Hi guys just signed up today n got my vauxhall vectra on thursday really happy with it but theres one problem condensation!

    its been quite wet since thursday n its seems to happen if im driving. Its mainly on back windows ad back windows gets quite dence. Any ideas of how to get rid of it?

    Possibly the aerial leaking and letting water into your boot.

    My GSI is the same even with the heaters on its bad i have to put the back window heater on to clear it my boot is dry so god knows what it is.

    Now there's a thought, I was hoovering out the car the other day and when I lifted the boot mat the spare was sitting in a pool of water. I,ll have to check my aerial

    Do you normally have the Air Conditioning running all the time?
    At this time of year the external temperature is below 5'C so the Air Conditioning does not operate
    Therefore condensation build up is inevitable, especially if you leave the car out of use for at least 24 hours

    Try parking the car in a position where the car will receive sunlight to the front between 09:00 and 11:00, this will probably solve the problem

    But it does still work as a dehumidifier, its only the cooling function that stops at lower temps.

    my back window does this, i've not noticed any leaks in the boot though.

    i have heard in the past that filling the boot storage bins makes it worse.

    aparently, these need to be kept partially clear in order to aid airlow when the car is moving.

    seems a waste of space to me tho
