    do you mean the 'light out' warning on the dash will still flash, will it bring up the fault in the center display, because ive got and aftermarket head unit n since ive put it in the center display only shows time-o-day, fan speed n temp and outside temp, dont really care about the dash light as long as the LEDs work im fine wit that.

    The dash error shouldn't come up, but when they are not on, and for about 20 seconds after deadlocking the car, they will flash/pulse.

    just be careful they dont flash/pulse when you`re driving without the sidelights on, mines do and they are "canbus friendly"......

    The canbus friendly part only refers to removing the error on the dash/OBC, they all flash/strobe.

    im just not keen on having to keep putting my lights on all the time without looking like the f1 safety car!

    I had this concern to before fitting mine, but as long as I don't forget to switch my sidelights on I won't be too bothered, as it is a reasonable safety procedure to have anyway.
