I'm looking to retrofit the alarm system to my 2008 vectra opc. I have the dashboard button and the sensor in the head lining ordered. Except for wiring (that might be present - I don't know yet), do I need any other parts?

As far as I am aware all the vectras have an alarm?? Mines has and its a Sri 2008 and my last one a energy 2004 and the 3 work vectras had ones they were all clubs 2004
kenp should be able to answer this one for you, i think you require a different bcm module..
@rozzer2006 our foreign friends dont always have alarms on their cars, they have specs even lower than us!

So true, the OPC I have (VXR equivalent) has nothing at all. Well, rain sensor and the recaro leather is about it. Is there any easy way to find out if any wiring is present, except for dismantling the whole car?
Well, if any parts are known to be different from vauxhall to opel, I'd like to know - then at least I know what to look for. I figure the alarm to be an easy mod, since the door sensors are already there - at least in my mind (it would make no sense to me whatsoever if 2 different sensors are mounted to the same door)
normally u can dismantle one or two of the major connectors and check the pins to see if they are they that will be a very good indication as to what is present, but it all depends on what your looking to do

Ahh ok lol lower than us geeso well as said if the sensors are there should be half the battle
I thought too all opels's had a better spec especially being a desirable opc.
A quick peek at about a 100 used facelidt vectras in Denmark, the most high spec'ed have xenon (no afl) and parking sensors. With the retrofitting prices I was looking to get a banged up for my girlfriend and strip the features, but it seems the features just haven't been sold very often - or they come at a very high price.
According to Opel Denmark, mine was actually sold without a radio - the previous owner did retrofit a high spec. Pioneer 2 din satnav stereo.
What! Lol Jesus!
well, since the standard OPC was around 60.000 pounds here, it's no suprise, that extras are not opted. The price is not comparable in the way, that the extra costs for the car applies to all other cars as well, but it's still a lot of money.
