Default Boot full of water, footwells, seats wet

Hi. not been on here for ages, had a lot going on. Hope all is well.

Basically my passenger footwells, front and rear was literaly like a pond. The drain under the wiper blades was blocked, so i unblocked it, and all the water drained through.Hope this sorts the front pond out.

Mike noticed under the back seats was soaking, so emptied the boot, and the wheel well was literally FULL of water, we made a drainage hole as was only way to shift it all.

Where could that water be coming from? I have read to check Arial base seal but I don't think the roof is damp,

behind the left tail light, at the bottom is a flap, a water hose test looks like water is coming through that flap, but its too wet to really tell right now, where else could the water be coming from to fill the boot up like it did?

    Ann

Never known anyone with the perished Ariel seal to have had a wet roof lining, mine included. It runs down the cable/washer pipe then drips on to the inside of the C Pillar and down the inside of the bodywork.

My spare wheel well was full with water when I got the car. Drained it. A few weeks later I changed the rear quarter glasses for the chromed ones, on doing so, the old ones weren't sealed properly, letting water in. All is still dry now, and the rain we've had the last couple of days would've shown up any leak

Mine a saloon, not a hatch, sorry didn't think to say, so don't think this is a window issue?
