can some one plz help, car keeps gong into limp mode

hi, can anyone plz help i have a 2005 vectra cdti 1.9, a friend of mine ran it out of fuel, since then it keeps going into limp mode, i changed the egr valve the fuel pump, water pump cambelt, fuel filternow it won't start unless bump started or towed still keeps going into limp mode but if u turn the key off then on again it clears, done a diagnostic on iti, still comes up with fuel rail/regulator, radiator fan which i have changed as it said this before also the temp gauge doesn't work or the cruise control, i wondered if it could be the ecu? someone plz give me some advice. thanks tina

what is the p code you get? when you bled fuel system after empty how did you do it? in life data what are the fuel pressure readings when car goes into limp mode? are you sure the fuel system is sealed? does the car start if bled up if so then your fuel is draining back to the tank if this is the case you will get fuel pressure fault codes come up and you need to locate where the system is leaking air in and seal it! if you have changed the fuel filter make sure the body is not damaged as this is easily done if the correct tool is not used and tightening torque not used.
