    Default alloy corrosion

    my car 2011 may insignia sri with 18 inch twin spooks has small rust like spots on 3 wheels.they are on the edge of the inner part of the wheel,where the wheel divides from inside to outside. should i get them replaced under warranty. the 4th wheel is being replaced by vauxhall because the lacuer has come off on one spot. is this common. what should i do. help please. its taken 7 months to get the first wheel replaced.

    Should not be getting that kind of reaction on a motor that age ...its only going to get worse i would be back at them

    Are you using a strong alloy cleaner? Or maybe the previous owner did and its burnt the lacquer?

    Same problem with the VXR 20" alloys (mine included).
    Some on VXRO have had some luck getting them changed under warrenty but it's taken them many months before they've agreed to replace them.


    Have consideration for the deaf, if you're gunna fart, make it smell !

    I believe aswell that the dealer drills a hole through the rim so they don't go "missing" when replaced.


    Have consideration for the deaf, if you're gunna fart, make it smell !
