Default Anyone bought xp copy bottom lip spoilers off eBay?

Hoping to get the xp front and back aprons for my car and I've seen a company in Brechin Scotland iirc that's selling grip copies,I know they obviously won't be quite as good as genuine but has anyone used them? How are they quality wise? Is grp better than fibreglass? Any advice gratefully accepted thanks

They aren't as good a fit and require work to make them sit half decent from what I've been told by other members, I'm looking at getting one but I'm looking to get it smoothed into the bumper so the fit isn't an issue as that'd be covered in the rework for smoothing. Hth mate

yup. done a few now.. two for wifes vec and another for a member on here.. I blend them in so they are seemless though, it takes a bit more work but i get the whole bumper resprayed after..

the place in scotland does quite good copies and are a pretty good fit, a place pretending to be in Ireland is the one to avoid as theirs require a lot more work to make them fit..

Ah ok cheers guys,I'd need to get them fitted ,painted etc so hopefully any issues with fitting would be dealt with by sprayer

Do yourself a favour and buy the genuine items, the copies require a lot of work to fit perfectly, rather than spray and fit!

Especially anything going on the front of the car. Ends up chipped to bits otherwise.
