Welcome aboard fella, you'll find us a helpful and friendly bunch. You need to post up some pics otherwise it's an instant ban! Lol

You'll get used to the indicators, If that's all you've got to complain about it, then it's not bad then.

Have fun matey, let the modding commence

Welcome! I have a metro blue veccy too! Bit more rare! Once you get used to the stalks you'll wonder why all cars don't have them!

Welcome aboard. What does the BC (on Board Computer) say the miles per gallon currently is?
First thing to do would be to do the airbox mod.
This basically involves removing a piece of plastic from the bottom of the airbox. This will help with the airflow into the engine, which will help with fuel and drivability.
Then you need to check if the spark plugs have ever been replaced. On my 1.8VVT, they were supposed to last 40k miles. Mine were badly worn at 28k.
The noisy pulleys might just be the belt tensioner.
If you decide to pay and become a full member then you will have access to the How2 section which has lots of help and advice and modifications, after all your signature (at the bottom of your posts) is currently blank......

80k or 8 years on the 2.2 petrol engine.

Mine has now done nearly 82k on the original plugs, never missed a beat and mainly run on supermarket petrol. I queried with the Vx garage at last service (at 75k) whether they were going to change them. Their reply was "As you only do approx 10k a year they'll last another year before needing changing"
