    Default Interior LED's - 20SMD's or 8SMD's....?

Gonna buy some LEDS for the interior lights and number plate lights, but not sure which to buy, seen the 20SMD ones and 8SMD ones - both on ebay for about a fiver for a pack of 10, but will the 20SMD one's not be really bright for the inside, maybe too bright, or are they ok..?

I went with these in the number plates

And these in the interior lights front & rear

and in the front map lights

42 LED's - wowsers, they must be bright.... I'm a tight arse, it'll be cheaper for me to get the 20's - which I will get as if you have 42, 20 will be no issue at all

    Cheers Derek

I found the 8 smd perfect for the interior and rear number plate.

Can't really say too much about the 20 smd ones (never used them) but it certainly would be very bright.

I have 8s in my inside lights, they are plenty bright enough, especially compared to the old normal bulbs.

I was looking at doing this too but I want to keep the fade on/off of the lights with unlocking/locking, do the LED's do this too or are they just on at full voltage and off as the voltage drops?

The ones I have are full on or full off. TBH the difference in light is worth losing the fade.

The one's i've had previously have faded, so am assuming these will too. Do a search someone has a video posted showing them fading.
