    Default wing mirror trim

    hi guys, its not my problem its my cousin's car, the black plsctic trim that goes round the mirror is half broken off, hes asking me how to get it off does it just pull off?? ive never had to take mines off so dnt have a clue.

    got a crack in the black bit of one of mine, havnt been able to find a replacement, so if any one can help the op can they also let us know if replacement black bits are available

    i would say scrappies, thats the one i want to know how to get off the ones thats on will get ripped off lol

    If its not the colour coded plastic then its highly likely that its a replacement mirror housing not designed to be removed from the car is the front plastic bits. I have an offside one available I think somewhere in the garage.

    so paul the black plastic that follows around the edge of the glass is not avilable sperate?

    well the if i cant get the black plastic but off then it would need to be a new mirror then??

    Not to my knowledge Ian Highlander had my passenger one as his had broken when someone hit it, its fixed as the removeable colour coded parts clip into it.

    looks like new housing, a route im not going to go down at the minute, for just a crack in the black lol.
