Default Pre facelift Headlight Bulb replacement

I have bought some Osram nightbreakers with the hope that they will be an improvement on the standard bulbs already fitted.
Can you tell me if these are easy/straight forward to fit. Do i need to remove engine parts or bumpers in order to fit new bulbs! (all right slight exageration but you get the gist...)
    Cheers
    Michael

easy fit, no need to remove anything, just lift up the battery lid on passenger side and easy access. just twist the bulb holder and it unlocks from the light unit, pull bulb out, replace with new, then twist lock back into place.

however, i did the same as you, bought nightbreakers in the hope it would make a difference to the poor lights, and sorry to say, but imo it didnt make any difference

Oh that's not really what I was wanting to hear (about there being no difference in light!)
    Thanks anyway...

I'm running the night breakers and they do make a difference, I bought them as I had been up and down to Newcastle a few times recently in the dark and on the unlit A1 they made a huge difference, they are slightly noticeable on normal roads but really shine (excuse the pun) on the unlit roads.
Regarding fitting mint took 5-10 mins

You may have to remove the air box, but only if your hands are the same size as the Hulks.

I just fitted a pair last week , and as for fitting all i did was remove the washer bottle neck on the passenger side , no need to remove anything on the drivers side .
As for light noticed a small improvement over the phillips bulbs i had installed previously , but nothing near as much as they claim

I have put osrams in my preface siggie and they are definitely brighter. They are not HIDS so it's not night and day difference but they are brighter. My hands aren't huge so I didn't need to remove anything.
