Not if your hands are quite flexible. Unclip the back panel (but make sure it's the right one so you don't end up trying to pull out the headlight - ones closest to the radiator) and get your hand in there. You'll feel the main beam wiring and the sidelight wiring. The sidelights are only pushed in so easy to feel. Pinch the back of the connector and wiggle them free. Old bulb out, new bulb in, and turn your sidelights on and look through the lens at the front. Much easier to line the light up that way than guess where it is.

Easier when you're doing the battery box side if you lift the battery lid up and pull off the washer bottle filler neck. Push the little black clip part out then wiggle it free. It just pushes back in again. Just don't drop the bulb down the hole - put a rag over it or something. Still got a bulb floating round in mine.

or if you have big hands pull out the airbox sounds drastic but i tried for ages trying to fiddle around trying to get light out ended up loseing the light inside the headlight... took ages fishing the ****** out so basicly a 5min job turned into about a hour......

Sod isn't it. To be honest, it's easy enough to drop the bumper and just unbolt the light units to change them. Saves the scraped knuckles etc.

68 SMD's?! Jeebus, are they not a bit bright just for sidelights?

I have these atm but I've ordered these so they'll be a bit brighter...not lighthouse bright, mind.
