    Question When were Snowflakes released??

Does anyone know when they were released? Iv upgraded to the Snowflakes and im trying to tell my insurance. I have two options:-

    1. Declare as optional extra
    2. Non-standard

Theres a big price difference between the two. Iv got an 03 2.2 SRi, could the Snowflakes have been an optional extra when new? or am i going to have to declare them as a non-standard set?

As they are an optional extra from Vx why shouldn't you declare them as such. They cannot be non-standard as they are a genuine Vx part

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about dates, just tell them they are geniune Vx optional parts.
What difference does it make weather they were factory fitted or fitted 6/12 months later ???
This risk is still the same !!!

Zurich they were the cheapest by far but dont think they are keen on mods. If i declare them as optional extra is another £20 if i declare them as non standard they want £120 .

Ridiculous i know, i will be having a good shop around this year, especially as i have a few more mods planned. Any recomendations? Was it Flux that you use Caterman, seem to remember them being mentioned when you had your crash.

Yes m8, AF were the cheapest for me. There are a couple of specialist insurers if you have mods. I'd certainly shop around for a better deal m8.
