Sorry Bainie, you're right. Stupid of me to forget that having driven on one Sunday! Point still stands if it was a residential, but if it was one of those stupid 30mph dual carriageway things (like the Blackwall Tunnel approach) my sympathies.

The Mrs. got done just before Christmas 38 in a 30 IN MY CAR, I got the NIP
sent it back saying it was her, she got one asking if she wanted £60 + 3 points or a Speed Awareness Course for £100 , so she is doing that.

Look on http://www.pepipoo.com/Speeding.htm tips for getting off, only found it after she admitted it.

Sorry to hear this Andy... but... what you didnt say was that you were braking hard with EBD and they only got you at 37mph in 30mph.... ... and you've got the 320 meter skid marks to prove it

EDIT: ...anyways, at least you didnt kill anyone... no harm done

*edit* Oh yeah and bad luck dude ...
I ain't having a go at Andy Tommy, just saying that you can't assume 37 in a 30 is always fine as the other fella said.

Think that gets my goat when people do 30-40mph past schools which are blatanly 20mph..... I don't have kids but still.

Throw a manikin out from behind a parked car one day - that'll sh*t him up!

edit - in relation to orig thread - hard luck getting caught mate - we all speed, but i'm with some of the other guys on this one - there's no right to complain!

37 in a 30 does sound bad on paper, but in a powerful car it dont take much for the speed to rise, many a time on the way to work i,m doing 40 in a 30 without realizing it,empty rd no one about as ive said it dont take much for the speed to go up.
