Default rain sensor advice plz guys

hi guys, got a few questions. i found the plug taped up in the top lining of the roof next to the widscreen, is it right to be a 3 way plug?? it does say rainsensor in german on it, thought there might have been more wires. anyway i'm going for an EX sensor, but ive seen EY ones on german ebay whats the differance, ino the JL are pre facelift.

Next question, i dont relly want a auto dim mirror but will the plastic cover for the sensor still fit on one with the standard rear view mirror.
and what is involed in programming it what ecus do i have to change etc?, i have... well i cant say as i got into trouble the last time but the software that is forbiddin to name lol pathetic.

a small last one, there is only one plug, where would the rear view mirror plug into if i did have one??

    thanks guys

The EY sensor is for heat reflective windscreen and the rear view mirror has its own loom from REC to mirror

More than likely it's not there mate and you'll have to buy it like I had to.

Yes the cover will fit as it clips to the mount for the Sensor. BTW you do want a dim dipping rear view mirror, its a great piece of kit.
