Almighty CREAK!!!

Having a few problems with the Veccy at the mo. This one's low on the list but ****** annoying! I know there are umpteen threads on creaks, bangs, squeaks and rattles from suspension and I think I've experienced most of them until now.

There's raised traffic calming on the main road between my new house and the motorway and every time I go over them I gat an almighty creak from the front end. No little squeak but a proper big groan! Audible over the loudest of stereo settings lol!

I've yet to check the springs but I don't think it's them. From what I've read if they break the front end normally drops. I'm guessing at maybe dry/rotten bushes somewhere but where I don't know. Anyone got any ideas?

Have a look at your drop links on the end of the anti-roll bar.

mine did the same in cold last winter i changed the anti roll bar bushes and cured it

Probably ARB bushes.

so if the drop links have been replaced then the next step is the ARB then?, as I have the same noise.

my car is doing the same, ARB bushes on standby for when the weather get's better

got the same on my 04 estate , has been creaking at the front over speedbumps for several years

found these on fleabay, wondering if theres a way to work out which bushes i need ? anyone ?
