When my egr valve went the engine stopped with a violent shudder, now its got a new one on its fine. I still have the flat spot below 2k but im guessing it will be the boost sensor got clogged up with egr. Next job to do if i can be bothered
It can be the egr valve sticking after the black soot came in to it. You should consider ceaning it.
O and I think it's possible to reset the MAF with an Opcom. Maybe that will help.
He has egr blanked and mapped out?
