how many have had new inlet manifold fitted?.....

Just curious to find out how many have had a new inlet manifold fitted, at what milage and what difference it made etc,
Im going to be fitting a new one to mine at the end of january my car is on 60k miles, previously run with swirl flap rod temp fixed on and then decided to glue the flaps open a couple of thousand miles ago, hope a new inlet will improve power, not looking forward to fitting it though lol.

Mine was done when Dan had it, 70+ iirc, I may fit another however if I can't clean it up well enough, if fitting yourself its worth it IMO...

had mine done about 6 weeks ago on 57k

had massive loss of power but the inlet didnt fix that, did the airbox mod and added a knN

78k under warranty a week after I bought it.. Didn't know about the issue... Checked & the bar wasn't attached. Wouldn't ever of known if not, drives the same! No loss of power.

At 75k had manifold removed and a uprated swirl kit fitted

The CDTi 150 I sold back in August is still going strong, with it's original manifold. It's now done 150k miles. The bar is off and the swirl valves are glued open

Back to topic, my inlet manifold is the same one at 248,000 mile. But do need a change due to hole fittings for bolts to hold egr in place is worn, used tape to make thread grip it in properly. Thats it.
