Could just be a bit of moisture getting into the top of the cap.

Deffo get it checked out though, if just for piece of mind.

Get it checked to be safe, but if you do alot of local journeys it might just be moisture sitting there as Andrew said.

The engine doesn't get hot enough to burn it off if you do short journeys.

Presume the oil looks okay when you dip it, not like a Cadbury's brown?

Keep your eye on the colour of the expansion tank. This could be an early warning that your head gasket is weak. Any white smoke on start-up?

It sounds like the standard 3.2v6 gunge. do you do short journeys, It is the cold air condensating the oil on the filler tube, mine does it as I do short journeys, but when I go on the motorway it clears it out, you will find that it goes no further than the oil filler tube.

emulsification (water in the oil), Very common on cars that don't do a large mileage or sit around for lond periods of time. As every1 said aslong as oil level is good and coolant level is good it won't b anything to worry about.

generally not a serious problem if its only a little on the cap and around filler u just wipe it with a cloth and get stuff out with fingers or screwdriver tip, if it is quite bad due to lack of oil changes or only covering a small mileage u can get engine flushes to clean it out!
