    Default how do i know if i have IDS on my car

    as above i have v6 turbo elite vectra but unsure if i have the ids system on my car,it has AFL xenons etc ,problem is i want to lower the car but im not sure you can if ids is fitted

    If you have IDS, dont you need to have the sport button? Makes the ride firmer etc?

    tbh i didny think it would have but i thought as it had vxr engine it may have it,i dont think its just fitted to vxr mind you

    Mostly VXR and some high spec CDTi's like MCD's not seen it on any other ones tbh.

    it was a factory option and wasnt a std fit at factory apart from the vxr
    which it was.

    my 2.8 signum didnt have ids or switchable tc but it has now as ive retro fitted the ids+ (continuous damping control)

    the ride and respons is so different you wouldnt believe

    No problems lowering a car with ids anyway mate but remind whoever fits your springs to disconnect the the link arm on the afl level sensors

    yeah definately as i nearly ripped mine off on the rear wen levering the lower arm down to remove the spring lol
