    Default Brake Lights Staying On

I hope someone can help I'm starting to lose it now! Basically my brake lights are staying on after I start driving they stay on for around 30 seconds or so, I have fitted 2 new brake light switches and a second hand one to no avail! But the strange thing is this only happens in cold or wet weather (like at the moment) in the dry I have no problems they act as normal? Hence the nightmare trying to trace the fault. Can Anyone offer any more advice cheers.

You might have water in the Rear Electrical Centre (REC). It is behind the grey fibre boot lining on the passenger side side of the boot. It is not just a fusebox, but a proper electrical/electronic module that controls the rear section of the car.

I'd say you've got water/ condensation getting in.

Dry it out. Try find where it's coming in.

    maybe ariel base?

put some silcagel satchets around area to absorb some more moisture for few days

Cheers Critch that sounds like good advice to me. It's dry today with more rain expected so good day to do it and hope you've nailed it
