He isn't approved by admin and therefore cannot advertise without their consent. I have asked him to contact them if he wants to offer services on the forum.

Unfortunately if he has he hasn't informed us and Chris Knott might not like it as they have approved trader status. If Duncan does approve it then it can go back no problem. I asked Tim to pm Duncan so hopefully it will soon be resolved.

I don't see the point of having any insurance companies / brokers advertising on here - from what I can see it's very rare that any members get a better deal from them and they don't seem to be interested in the lower costing premiums ie 2-£300 more in the higher end. After I had put a comment on here regarding the poor quote/service from Chris Knott a representative contacted me and explained that for every policy they sold to a member through the forum they paid a 'commission' to the club funds - now that doesn't come out of their pockets - its clogged onto the premium cost, and it would be interesting to see how much they contribute each year.
The advice I would give every member ( and the majority know this already) is to shop around - do your homework - and test the others out just in case they do surprise you - if any Insurance providers prices where so unbeatable they would come up tops on every comparison site - but it looks like they don't even participate.

have to agree with all of the above......
any time i have tried myself for a decent quote, imo they don"t seem that interested in trying to get u the best price possible for ur annual premium......maybe thats because of there commission....
i have no quams asking a broker straight up is that there best price, and if not well see ya later.......3 cars currently insured so always looking the best possible price.......
