With a very sad heart. Our fathfull dog Rex died yesterday. He had kidney failure. I could see two weeks ago when I took him to the vet that he was poorly,and had a very good idea what was wrong. The Vet examined him, and said everything I was expecting. He was put on a drip for 24 hours, that did him good and her recovered supprisingly well, but I knew he had not got long left (hence my abscence on here a little). Well yesterday he lost his fight. Mind you he was 17 years old, and had a very good life, he lived it to the full, and was a happy dog, loved his food and walks. He loved going in the car for a day out, in fact he had 10 holidays to the seaside and the likes. I always did my best for us to have at least one holiday with the dogs with us in England. He had seen a lot of England, it,s coast and beaches, let alone the countryside.
He will be sorely missed by Larisa and I and our other dog Cromwell. But he will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace REX my old mate..............................

Sorry to hear about your loss Ed , as you said a long and fruitful life , just remember him as the dog that brought so much pleasure to your life and how much love and kindness you gave him. Thought are with you and Larisa.

Sorry to here that mate happened to my old dog a few years ago had her 18 years from being 3 years old the it happened its heart breaking people carnt understand if the havnt got a dog sorry again to here the bad news mate r.i.p Rex

Some people will say its only a dog, but they offer unconditional companionship and are a real addition to the family. Sorry to hear the sad news, but remember the good times with him.

Rex was one of the friendliest dogs you could ever meet ! A true faithful four legged friend and i know how much Larisa and yourself will miss him Ed.
Always sad to lose a loving pet.
