My old Signum, the animal; she now rests in pieces in several other members cars.. https://www.vectra-c.com/forum/garag...vehicle&id=200
The wifes vec show car, started as a standard daily driver and ended up like this. https://www.vectra-c.com/forum/garag...vehicle&id=709
I saw something on tv about them when they got to the states they stripped em down and rebuilt em because they fell apart as they come off the ship
Like how it only does 85 mph is it limited in case it hits 88 mph and vanishes
They are still an iconic looking car in stainless steel. I wonder how many other car flops have still got so much interest all these years later?
Most of my cars were pre that era but I had a few late 70's cars they were all that format.
My 79 Trans Am had a fully rebuilt 6.6 litre engine, at 70mph was turning 2000 rpm in top if I say that once I managed a cruise at 4400rpm with no real effort, the glass T tops off and with much more to go to the redline of 5500rpm you can gauge the top speed despite the poor speedo needle sitting vertically!
