Default Laptop Issue - MEGA HIGH CPU usage when normal Internet Browsing

    IT Techy's out there!!

My laptop seems to be using near 100% CPU usage under normal Internet browsing.

Its particularly worse with Google Chrome.

The laptop is about a year or so old, its got an AMD Vision DC processor, 4Gb Ram, Windows 7 Home.

    Anyone help?

    Thanks.

Download superantispyware from www.filehippo.com. It's great and free.

also spybot, malwarebytes. Microsoft security essentials is also a good one, free to genuine Microsoft users, and free life time subscription

Once downloaded, tick enable highly infected system and high boost. Should do the trick, found most virus I've had.

I had this problem, and it was the power adaptor. Bought a new one, now works fine

As well as potential software issues, may also be worth just making sure the CPU cooling fan isn't choked with dust or fluff, causing it to run hotter and work harder etc.

Easiest way is usually just to locate the vent, and pucker up and give it a really good blow.

(Or use an airline or tin of compressed air.........)
