Question Would a 16" Wheel fit on an Insignia with 18" wheels?

    Guys,

I dont have the car here but need some info.

I need a spare for the Insignia and the car has the standard 18" Alloys - SRI.

Would a 16" space saver fit the car as its designed for 18" wheels? Will it fit over the discs and caliper?

Also, whats the standard space save size in these Insignias?

They have replaced them with these silly tyre inflation kits.

    Thanks.

Ahhh. I see, it lifts the carpet, etc, level with the wheel.

Good thinking - I like that idea.

Well ill still look into a space saver until a suitable 18" comes along.

But thank you - picture speaks a thousand words!!

Right as you can see in the picture my 18" alloy sits in the well and theres 2 black bits added around the alloy to flatten the boot out

Will the top back on now you can see the boot has raised up slightly but you dont loose much and your boot is now flat again

Part numbers for the black bits are:

    13249755
    13249757
