Default One for the LED Experts: Info need please

    Hi All

Im slightly confused over what LED's to use in the various versions of Half Canbus / Full Canbus steering wheel controls.

I use 0603 smd's for the Facelift controls and they work really well. Changed them quite a few times now.

Also Lee_GSI's excellent LED how to specs up 0805 smd's for the scroll type steering wheel controls.

Are the preface and facelift scroll wheel controls different in some way.

What spec of LED are used for the Half Can Button type controls.

    Many thanks

    Chris

Im going to be finishing a led conversion in early Jan 2013. He has the the button type controls.

When I was redoing mine to a different colour (i do get bored too easily) I looked at Lee-GSI's how to to get the correct positive side of the leds then noticed he used different leds to me.

I thought this may mean that some of the scroll controls may differ in spec somehow. Also noticed his had blue connectors on the controls once remove and I have Black connectors. Not sure if this indicates a difference in spec.

    Cheers for your reply Rich.

EDIT : I can do a how to but for the button type as im not sure one exists.
