    Default tv's in the bedroom

Random post but i've not had a tele in my room for years. I liked not having one but for some reason I now want one so have bought one. Next question is what type of set up do people have? I've got some speakers and that in the living room running off an amp and ps3. Is it to excessive to get another ps3? as that acts as my blu ray aswell which love at the min and will wanna chill in bed watching them so bit unsure what to do.I couldn't be bothered moving a ps from one room to another. Abit random I know

you could just buy a video sender or for the price of a good sender you could get a cheap blue ray player

I've seen blu-rays going for £25 up in asda.

What i use is a external harddrive as my telly has usb input so just download films and chuck them on the external but if i get blu-rays i just take the ps3 through as i have spare HDMI cable in there and a power lead for the ps3.

Got large LED in bedroom with sky+ ( distributed through the house ) a media player ( hooked up to TB nas upstairs again distributed through house, this requires network link ) TV itself is also a smart Tv so has network access also.

Non of this is that exspensive & it's easy to do ( media players are £20-40 from fleabay. Rip your dvd collection to TB nas and off you go.

I have a TV in the bedroom.... It's not plugged in.

Downstairs I have a Sony Blu-ray Player attached to the TV and to the home network. from there I can access facebook, play BBC iPlayer, YouTube and various other catchup channels (I think there's 30 odd in total) and it's apparently the same operating system as is on the PS3. I also stream HD films's from my imac's hard drive through the blu-ray and wireless network.

We have a 27" LCD mounted up on a bracket in the corner of the bedroom (quite high). I have Sky+ piped into the bedroom from the living room with a "Sky Eye" remote sender for the Sky remote (only one subscription to pay that way and there's only ever the two of us watching it).

I also have a PC hooked up to it with wireless keyboard and mouse and a wireless N connection to the router and use XBMC on that to watch all the videos/tv series/films etc from a DLNA server I have running downstairs.

Bought a little Shuttle PC a while back that I plan to get the remote control unit for so we don't have to use the keyboard and mouse and use that in the bedroom as a media PC again hooked up to the DLNA server, just havent got round to setting it up and getting the remote part.
