Traction control light,quick query

mines a 56 and had the wiring for the switch i think its because its a nav model. i fitted the early tc unite and plasma activated it.

Like I say you stand more chance in a half can. I doubt mine will have the wiring at all even though it has the sat nav with mine being a later vec. I have the blue plug but that counts for nothing.

it you have the plug then its wired. mines a full-can.

You have TC you don't need to change anything. The light wouldn't come on otherwise. Buy the switch from the dealers and see if it switches it off. If not, I believe there's only a wire missing between the TC button and ABS unit.

take the blank above the alarm button off. but i don't think it would work on yours as its an early face-lift. pm plasma your abs part number and he will tell you.

No it's not, some wires are missing. Plenty on here have the blue plug and the switch does nothing apart from illuminate - half and full can cars and the ABS module has TC built in.

I'm going to order a button tomorrow and I'll need to source an ABS unit with ESP from an earlier car.
