    Default Head gasket or head?

Well getting there but after some answers before I go back to talk to the garage.
Rebuilt engine, now got oil and coolant mixing in both areas.
Went down for water pump change today and to test for issue.
They have come back saying either head gasket or can't remember the name, something with p in the head (in short needs testing)??
The pump didn't get changed as they didnt want to take apart twice (fair enough).
Now, the head was skimmed and tested and I was told by the person who took it away this but have no results or communication with whoever did it.
The head gasket was new. Will there be some sort of warranty with the gasket?
Could they try and prove for human error so I have to buy a new one as they did not fit it?
To figure out what the problem is it means taking it apart again.
Now I need the pump changed so 1 advantage as I have money and parts for that. I don't think they have the timing tool and that's why they didn't take apart.
All timing chains were replaced. Do I need to replace again for head gasket replacement?
New head bolts again (won't use old no matter what so expecting that)??
    New crank bolt and seal?
Would the garage do the work if the gasket was at fault for free or should they be (gotta get at least a reduced price), they only supplied part?
What is a guess price for pump and head test, gasket change?

    Default

    To update.
Finally had the pump changed and oil was only visible in the header. Looking at the old pump oil runs around the middle moving piece that connects to the cog (or other side).
The seal has a lump bout 5mm wide between this section and where the water is pumped from.
This seal is flush with the pump edge so looks like the culprit.
Ran so far for 50 miles and no signs of oil in coolant.
So, when doing head ALWAYS change water pump/seal!!!

The worst part, if I had of listened to the garage and let them strip the engine out for around 5-6 hundred (not putting back in) they would be none the wiser of the issue.
It was booked for pump change and they did nothing. They really did want my money and pourous head is not common on the Z22YH.
    Thanks for help from all
