You'd need a tech2 session to activate the xenon feature otherwise you'll probably get bulb error messages and pulsing headlights. There are other features that'll probably be a miss like auto leveling sensing etc....

you will need to have the add on wiring harness made and fitted along with a front and rear level sensor, rear add on
axle wiring for the rear axle sensor then fit headlamps and a tech2 session to configure them to the car.

easy enough to do if you know what ya doing

they are almost the same, full factory style install, will be 100% legal, retrofit kits do have question marks over legality.

Well u guys are jumping on hes looking at AFL's what if its just xenons, the Vauxhall xenons look like the normal headlights at the front like the ones u have and are slightly different at the back, where as the AFL's look different from the front and back. I dont know whether the plug for the headlight is the same for normal headlights and xenons, but as said the AFL's will be different I think they are 16 way plugs? Am I right Seb?? Where as normal headlights are 10 way. But ive not seen xenons so im not sure about one, would imagine it would be the same because its just the bulb thats ugraded and not all the fancy bi-xenon AFL extras.

But if uve got the cash for xenons and they plug in ok go for it, either that go for HID kits usualy about 30-60 quid, it is better to enable the xenons thru the ecu via tech2 or equivilant, but if not ul need canbus safe ones or inline cancellers. For it to look OEM u would be looking for either 4.3k( which I have) or 5k's they look the closest to OEM.

it doesnt matter if you fit xenons or afls to facelift as the wiring is the same apart from afl have a few more wires than xenons but same principal they
both have the same 16 pin plug on the passenger side and a 10pin on the drivers side.

std halogen headlamps only have an 8 pin although they look the same theyve only got 8 working pins and 2 are just round blank holes so you cant add
anymore wires to the std headlamp plugs
