Default HELP PLEASE - Trouble codes: P1105-FA and P0105-FA

    Hey guys,

    Need some help please.

My Vec 2.0 DTI 2005/05 keeps randomly going into limp home mode with the spanner light coming on.

I have read the codes off it an am getting the below:
    P1105-FA
    P0105-FA

.....and it says something like: "Barometric Pressure not plausible with Boost Pressure".

I have had a read on some threads, it points to Boost Sensor or vac pipes?

Any one a little more conclusive with this??

    Thanks.

I've checked via Torque & it appears to be Vac pipes / solenoid problem as in this thread:

My car is not that engine bud, thats the CDTi in the picture, mine is the DTI 2.0. I have just cleaned the boost sensor, will try later see how it is.

There... That's a 2.0 DTI and it's still the vac solenoid & possibly pipes

The first thing to do is check all of your vacuum pipe work and connectors as they perish through time this is a common problem with the dti. Also check your boost pipe from the inter cooler to your manifold for splits. This pipe expands when under pressure so the splits can be hard to find. Have someone to rev the engine when checking the boost pipe and you will see what I mean..

I cleaned the boost sensor earlier and re-fitted - touch wood it seems OK so far. Will check the pipes too tomorrow as a matter of precaution.
