Default Good wheel balancers (Inverclyde or Alloa area)

Does anyone on here happen to know any good tyre companies in the above areas? I've been having huge problems with wheel judder at motorway speeds, had the wheels balanced but now looking at the forum it appears there are problems with balancing the vx wheels and they have to be done on fine settings. Can anyone recommend anywhere? Worth a try I guess

A1 tyres East Kilbride. OK so it is my brothers place, but they always do mine and never had a problem in 25 years.

Have you checked your tyres for defects? Bulges on inner wall or even on the rolling face?

Are the wheels true and un-buckled?

Yeah, they've been checked. No issues with rim or tyre whatsoever, I'd have been a bit annoyed because they're only a year old and have never had a fight with a kerb or pothole

Has it only just started to happen, or have you always had the wobble? If it has always wobbled, then I would say its the tyres, if it has only recently started I would have your bushes etc checked for play.

Just visit any local tyre fitter
Ask how old their balancing machine is, and if it can do weights in 1g intervals

Equally, check the inside of the alloys for old weight deposits, and have them removed
Check the tyre markings to make sure the tyre has been fitted correctly, ie the valve marking

I had a snapped spring a couple months back. Took a couple of weeks to discover what it was as it had just fractured in the bottom coil but that was the beginning of the judder. When I replaced the spring I still had it. So front and back wheels swapped and a little difference. They tyres are all fine, no visible issues. Didn't get a chance to check it today but going to check it the next day or two on the balancing machine which is set-up for precision balancing and there has never been any issues with it, one of the cars is a vec so here's hoping.
The bushes are all fine, no play in anything. Only place which is giving anything unusual is the arb links but they're relatively new HD ones. Get a small click when you first pull it, only does it once and does it on each side. No play etc
