Default Help needed fitting H3 HID Fogs on to Facelift

Trying to fit H3 HID Bulbs to my fog lights but im confused over the connections from the cancelor and the existing for light cable.

    The connectors dont match up.

I suspect I have bought the wrong bulbs or just missing the obvious

Any help would be much appreciated as its dark now and im getting some what frustrated with it.,

    Cheers

    Chris

Gave up in the end and stuck the front bumper back in the dark and rain.

Anyone have any ideas how the HID H3 Fogs are connected,

I know a few on have done this mod but I had to admit defeat tonight.

That will teach me for starting late,

I had HID fogs on my old Signum, but I had a VXR bumper fitted which had the H11 bulbs instead. I think I modded the cabling on the HID kit itself so the plug was compatible - in fact if i remember rightly the VXR's had a seperate cable in between the standard fog light wiring harness and the H11 bulb anyway as you had to change the plug...

    Looked awesome though...

    Thx very much mate.

Just confirms to me why I had trouble. I just could not figure it out, now it makes sense that some sort of DIY cable may have to be made from the Fog cable connector (male) to the Ballast/Cancelor (female)

Will have a think on that one.

    Cheers

When you say you want HIDS do you mean for the Fogs or Dipped Beam?

I got 6K 35w H3 Hid Bulbs and two 35W ballasts from Sebastian here on the forum.

    Already had cancelors

The bulbs from what I could see would fit. It just the connectors that don't marry up from the fog wire to the cancelors/ballasts

Going to make some connecting cables up over Christmas and see how it goes.

    Cheers
