Well I've only had it a week & I bought it from a dealer with a 3 month warranty. I dare say he's going to say that this is wear & tear not covered by the warranty but I'm going to try saying he should sort it out.
If he wont cooperate, is there really no way other than cutting through the grill? Seems a bit of a simple design flaw...anyone got a grill for sale?
after only a week it should be their problem to sort.
it is possible to get it open if you have access to a ramp and a large bar.
not easy due very limited space between rads. But I have done it lol
with a lot of swearing involved ill add lol
I've now arranged for it to go back for the dealer's mechanic to have a look at on Monday. Fingers crossed he manages to get it open..Wish him luck everyone! I'll post how he gets on
If he breaks the grill I have a couple of preface SRI ones and one has been sprayed Matt black but both are available bud.
