    Hi keep getting B2966 - Driver Doorknob Circuit Open or High Voltage:
    everything works on the door switch panal except the one thats when pressed locks all doors, the passanger side works ok?
    when I looked on e:bay for used door module they say it has got to be programed to car any help with this please.

    Have you tried to take it apart and clean the copper contacts with a pencil rubber?

    I have fixed a few now by doing this.

    Might help in getting rid of the error too

    Hi no not done anything yet but will have ago at what you say, when you say copper contacts do you mean the ones in the door switch or the module behind door plastic cover regards Maurice

    Ive had that error for 6 years, it Will Never be removed... So just lave it
    ishave you actually Any problems.

    Sorrry for the late reply.

    If one of the buttons is not working it quite possible the contact underneath is just dirty.

    Take.it out and open it up. You will see a pcb board with round patterned copper contacts.

    Get a rubber and use this to clean them. Clean the excess shavings off.

    Reassemble and then test in the car. Im pretty sure all buttons will work then.

    As for the error i miss read your post sorry..i doubt the cleaning will have any affect regarding the error.
