    Need someone to point where the earth is for alternator please.

    Don't think there was a seperate one when I did my cdti 120 - although the body bolts straight onto the block I would think it gets a good earth from there provided the earthing to the engine is good

    It's already earthed as it's bolted onto the engine.

    It's earthed through the engine block.

    You can confirm volt drop with multimeter to body of alt and engine block

    Just need to know where its bolted so i can remove, clean, rebolt giving good contact as got poor earthing to alternator. Photo will help :-)

    The bolts that connect the alternator mechanically to the engine is the earth as said above remove the alternator bolts individually if you feel you need to clean the contact.
