Default Ebay HIDs - Surprising Answer From Seller

Was looking at HIDs on Ebay earlier, specifically these ones:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...:X:RTQ:GB:1123

Decided to contact the seller just to confirm if he could supply 4300K or 5000K bulbs with them, and also if he thought I would need cancellors for my 2006 Vectra.

The reply came back within an hour or two, and simply said "Hello sorry it wont fit cars with canbus".

Bit odd surely, haven't others on here bought basically the same kit and had no real issues?

Bit odd when his own advert says "OPTIONAL EXTRA
    - Some newer 2002 VAG BMW and Mercedes vehicles with canbus may require a set of decoders (find these in our ebay shop)"
So it would seem he claims to sell canbus adapters...

Indeed. Kind of sounds like he possibly doesn't really know much about what he is selling. Confidence inspiring......

Probably a safer bet to be fair, but they are a bit more expensive. I asked on here a couple of days back about the discount code we used to have, as it doesn't seem to work any more.
