hid fitment

Hi all,now i dont wanna sound like a complete spanner,but i am fitting hid`s to my gsi and was wondering ,which colour wire is earth on pre face lift head light low beam, i got yellow or brown?

i think brown but check with a multi meter 1st

If its anything like my old astra yellow will be your positive and brown will be the earth.

Generally Vx use brown for their earth connection - or at least they used to.

The Haynes manual I have is for a Facelift, but I don't imagine the wiring colours are much different. That being the case, it shows that brown should be your headlamp earth. Looking at some of the other diagrams, pretty much all the Earths appear to be brown to be honest.

i havea pre facelift haynes al check but i think it should have two wires which would be the negative or common.
