wha i it you want it for?
TBH there not great machines
Difficult to say for sure because the seller of the 2nd unit doesn't mention an operating system or processor, or battery specs.
That said it does have an 8gb SSD drive, but that isn't particularly large. On balance, without further info from the seller, including info on the condition, I would be inclined to go for the first of the 2.
My thoughts anyway, I'm sure there will be others that disagree.
Good luck anyway, trying to make like for like comparisons when there are so many variables, is always very difficult.

The first one
I would ask the seller of the second 1,what is the processed speed.
Prob not much difference their both gonna be slow
I would say that the first 1 should have xp , not windows 7 , that will also make it slower
The difference between them is that the first is a proper laptop, same properties as a desktop with plenty of storage and probably running a xp or vista, around 5 to 7 years old.
the second is a mini laptop (notebook) which is really limited in term of storage, or proper use for playing games, creating websites etc. It will not have all the facilities a proper laptop has, in a way its best advantage is its portability. So No1 is best in any case.
There both net books
itll just be for the mrs surfing the web and maybe some typing nothing outstanding really
In that case, definitely go for #1 .
However, I would anticipate having to run the unit using the power adaptor, I doubt if you'll get much life from it running on battery only, but who knows until you put it to the test.
Anyway, as this definitely has an operating system, and greater storeage capacity, then for home use, browsing , email etc, it will probably be fine. At the end of the day it's down to hard cash. Personally I wouldn't pay much more if any than £100-£120 but you should get it for the lower figure unless the Christmas season hikes up the number of potential buyers.
Cheers
