    Default Temperature drop?

Anyone else noticed a drop on fully warm temerature? I'm assuming it's because the weather is so cold at present.
My derv 150 usually sits at 85 degrees no matter what, last couple of days been struggling to stay at 80 degrees.
Still takes same time to warm up, so no stuck thermostat (he says hopefully).
Has been below zero both days.

Mine too. Takes a bit longer to get to normal temp, but then sits about 90-92 degrees as per usual. Been about -5 or so a couple of mornings recently too.

My 150 cdti has dropped to just below 80 also, I was thinking my thermostat is on its way out.

Mine (1.9 cdti 120) took a lot longer yesterday (-4) to warm up and when I had the fan on 3 it dropped down to around 80 but climbed up again to 90 with the fan off. Also took a bit longer to warm up from startup.

With the current cold weather my 3.0 CDTI definitely takes longer to warm up and sits a couple of degrees less on the temp gauge at 85° C or so.

But it's a big lump of an engine and only a short 14 mile journey on country roads (30-40 mph) each morning and with outside temperatures of perhaps -3° it takes about 7 miles before it's properly warmed up. Plus the climate control is set to at least 22° too, it gets nice and toasty so I don't think there's anything amiss with the thermostat.

My last car (a 1.9 VW diesel) did warm up faster but physically the lump was probably half the size!

Just been out in mine, about 3 miles to the motorway and then 5 miles on the motorway at about 80mph and it got up to normal temp about a mile onto the motorway and stayed there.

    Temp is -2*c.

Car had been up to temp a couple of hours before so heated up quicker.
