Default Clicking from behind drivers headlamp

    Hi
There's a clicking noise just started somewhere behind drivers side headlamp, it sounds like a relay constantly clicking does anyone know if there is one around there or any other ideas what it could be.
Its the Sri turbo on a 54 plate
    Thanks....Andy

Someone said it could be the fuel pump but don't think that would be behind the headlight

what engine is it, sri means nothing

there is not much behind the drivers headlight though, you have the power steering pump below it, or do you think its coming from the engine itself but from that side/area

    Some possibilities
The headlamp leveling motor might be stuck in the on position, so test this switch to see if the aim adjusts
There is a control module on the mounting point for the Power Steering Pump, and is susceptible to water ingress and failure

Apart from that, there isn't much else in that area
You might have to switch the engine off and strip some parts to ascertain the source

ok, same engine as mine.. you may want to check out your power steering pump but thats a bumper off job.. is the aircon switched off when you hear this.. BTW your fuel pump is in the petrol tank at the back of the car..
