    Default hoffman race tube

Just looking on eBay and came across the hoffman race tube and there only cheap. I know they won't do much performance wise but will it give my 1.9 cdti more of a throaty sound? Or would I just be better off just getting a straight through pipe from the precat to backbox from the likes off powerflow

Only way to really got sound from a CDTi is go straight through all the way. I've got no cats or centre box on mine, just two little back boxes and it's barely any louder than standard. Slight rumble when I boot it and that's it.

How much would it be roughly for a straight pipe from turbo back from the likes of powerflow.

I got mine from mij. The single exit cost me £260 then i went back for a downpipe and dual back and that cost £240. This was on my dti although the cat-back part is on my cdti. If you want no boxes and just tailpipes your probably looking in the £300s. Get some quotes

I got a cat back in the cdti, got quoted £150 to remove main cat, sounds extortionate to me?

£200 for a single cat back on the 2.2 tho, need a bit if grunt on both of mine
