Been a silent viewer of the forum since 2007 - Many times helping me with problem just by reading others threads.
I have a saab 93ss with the Z19DTH engine and F40 Gearbox.
Ive been through many stages of tune and learnt the hard way on some occasions!
Current Spec : -
Nutron 56mm Hybrid turbo
powerflow - no cat or pre cat + no boxes
Breathes to atmosphere
Large (not extra large like karls) Intercooler
Water methanol injection.
Me and Karl have been in conversation with various diesel injection companies for some time now in regards to getting more from the original injectors by either modification or nozzels
I promptly bought 4 used injectors and sent them to be tested and altered - all done in about 4 days i had them back
Then to Diesel Bob for the calibration figures to be set to ensure none of the injectors are inbalanced - Causing for example 1 piston/cylinder to run rich or lean and cause megga damage.
Now the results need Nutron to explain as he's spoken to the suppliers directly this morning
I was quoted 26% BUT.... The OEM manufacturers specify quite a large range (figures to follow) of flow for the original injectors and my new modified ones are of similiar range - but are much more likely to reach the top end of the range ....
Fitting hopefully this week and results to follow tweaking and more map tweaking (currently all being done by nutron, a laptop and mcdonalds car park)
Feel free to ask questions etc
