vectra cdti hard to start

hi i have a 56 plate vectra cdti 120 and it is being quite difficult to start esp when cold anybody have any ideas what this could be please ?

Where to start...

Glow Plugs... Starter Motor... Leak Off Pipes... EGR... Battery... to name but a few...

Chunklamb's right, but you can get a good garage to test/check those, a lot of garages offer a free battery check at this time of year, which should also check your alternator is charging the battery. I have a 120 and I wouldn't say it's difficult, but it does seem to take longer to start some mornings, there's quite a few threads about the 120s being difficult to start.

Cheers will have a search don't think it's battery cause it turns over just turn over for ages before it starts
