Default It's like a touch of magic

Just removed and cleaned up window switch with nail polish remover. It worked 25 per cent of the time before, It now works like new. Only gave each contact a wipe over once. I'm a happy man. Thanks for the tip by several members on forum, saved me few quid.

I had cleaned the contacts a couple of times and I thought they were a lot better, until Sebastian gave me a brand new switch, unbelievable difference!!!

Need to do mine! Both drivers and passenger switches are terrible! Might pull them out tommorow and give them a clean, assuming cellulose thinners would work on a cotton bud if nail varnish remover does...

I'm with Lee GSi on the pencil rubbers.... did the driver's door switch on my GSi the other day... took all of 20 mins start to finish. The weapon of choice being the tip eraser on one of a pack of cheapo Tesco pencils.
