    Default HID ballast

What's the best place to mount the HID ballast on the drivers side not much space around the airbox

I cable tied mine to the air con pipes. If you take the light unit out there should be space on the bottom of the light itself to screw the ballast in where the Vauxhall OEM one would go if you had xenons. Mine didn't fit though so cable tied it to the air con pipes nice and tight.

There's space under the headlight to allow fitting of the ballast. Couple of cableties and some self tapping screws and your sorted. There's 2-3 screw holes underneath the headlamp to put the screws in. Have a look in the How2 section for guidance

How warm do the ballasts get when in use? Sure I read somewhere that they are often mounted under the headlamp to help with cooling as the air passes over them.
