    Default wrong road speed

    is the average road speed determind using abs sensor or gearbox sensor on signum2.2 direct this car is killin me help

    It's normally done on the gearbox sensor

    How bad is it? All speedos overread to some extent.

    An error of 5% is common on a speedo. Are you referring to the OBC average reading or the speedo? your obc will probably be saying somewhere from 27 to 40mph depending on the length since a reset?

    My says 16 It matches my MPG perfectly

    My average speed is 38mph my average economy 51.4mpg the economy is about 3mpg less than a brim to brim fill up the average speed however is painfully accurate due to congestion. I have never really managed a long term average speed over about 45mph consistantly
