Sorry, can't help with yor question, but can I ask what kit you bought and if you are talking about plastic based bulbs or metal?

I'm contemplating a set myself, so would be handy to know of any potential pitfalls.

Think the OP has a facelift so won't have bulb holders - seems strange how only one is popping out, can they be filed down a bit? (bulb bases).

    Aahh my bad.

in that case I'd be making sure the lugs are ok in back of the light unit.
the problem must lie with that bulb/ light unit if its only that one doing it

I've had both plastic and metal base bulbs on my HIDs... just get another set of bulbs with metal bases (HIDS direct are metal - HIDS4US are plastic) - I found both a good fit tho.

My HIDs have plastic bases and have never popped out the headlight clips in the 3+ years fitted.

Make sure the bulb is seated correctly, and the clips aren't bent. Probably best to take the headlight out to check up close. Bumper off job though. Approx 15 mins to do.

When I fitted mine into my Facelift the clips that hold the bulbs in were not that easy to close as where the wires come out the rear of the bulb were covered by a large piece of heatshrink sleeve (as in pic below borrowed from google) so had to bend the clips a little harder to hold bulb in place. Got there in the end though
